The Bike Shop at Rifugio
Gear, spares, and service that’s ready when promised.
A small shop that does a few things exceptionally well: boutique high-end builds, honest advice, and the wear parts that keep you rolling.
What we’re known for
Boutique, high-end builds.
One bike at a time, built the way it should be — spec’d around how you actually ride, assembled by seasoned mechanics, and finished to a standard you can feel on the first pedal stroke.
Custom builds, dream-bike upgrades, and full rebuilds of something you already love. Start with a conversation.
On the shelf
What we actually stock.
If it gets you riding today, fuels a ride, or fixes a flat, it’s on the shelf. Everything else is special order against a work order — ordered Tuesday and Thursday.
Ride-day essentials
Sealant, tubes, valve cores, chain lube, flat pedals, bottles. The things that end a ride if you don’t have them.
Fuel & the fridge
Cold drinks, maple syrup and waffles, and whatever gets you up the next climb.
Wear parts
Disc pads, 12-speed chains, cables and housing — the parts that turn over, in stock and fitted same day.
Cassettes, derailleurs, forks, droppers, motors, batteries — special order at MSRP against a work order, card on file. Ask a mechanic and we’ll put it on the next truck.
Leave your bike with us
Service, by appointment.
Check in below — menu and prices up front, card on file, diagnostic credited toward the work. We email your quote; paying it confirms the appointment.
Service check-in
Leave your bike with people who care.
Check in takes about two minutes. Here’s how service works here:
-
01 · Check in
Tell us about your bike and what’s going on. It becomes the brief for your mechanic.
-
02 · We diagnose & quote
We schedule it in, diagnose it, and email you a quote — parts, labor, and your appointment date. The diagnostic fee is credited toward the work.
-
03 · You approve
Paying the quote confirms your appointment. Parts get ordered and your slot is locked in.
The diagnostic fee
A $25.00 diagnostic applies to tune-ups and a $10.00 diagnostic to à la carte work. It’s due at check-in and credited toward your balance — so if you approve the quote, it costs you nothing extra. Choose not to proceed and it simply covers the full evaluation of your bike.
