Our Team

All wallets

Tom De Carlo

I’m an educator who has worked as an Outward Bound instructor outdoors and as an English teacher indoors.

I grew up working in a small Italian family restaurant. I love all things Italian–especially ciabatta! Cycling, of all types, has been a life-long passion. I look forward to meeting clients’ needs and aspirations. In the process I expect to have a great time, meet neat people, and travel to special places.

Jon Rice

Jon has been mountain biking on Kingdom Trails since he moved to the Northeast Kingdom in 2001. He is passionate about expanding access to mountain biking for all and introducing bikers to the joys of riding in the NEK.

Sven Cole

Rolling on wheels has been a favorite pastime for Sven for several decades. He still loves learning and laughing while out on the trails and is fond of saying it can only be a good day when you're out on the bike.

Rick Stephens

I am an avid cyclist who enjoys sharing his passion for riding with others on mountain bike trails and gravel roads, be it in the bucolic beauty of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, throughout New England or in more exotic locations such as Iceland!

I'm thrilled to share my skills and knowledge with riders of all ages and levels, helping them become more confident and experience the amazing trails and gravel roads of the NEK. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a timid rider transform into a smiling, hooting, and more self-assured cyclist by the end of a session. I also love sharing the endless scenic beauty of the gravel roads with all riders.

Ian was influential in our son coming to love mountain biking several years ago, and we are very grateful for the positive effect on Luke’s life. It’s the only sport he passionately enjoys as a now 13 year old.
